Leaders Igniting Generational Healing and Transformation (LIGHT) hosted the First Annual Virtual LIGHT Festival on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 8:00AM to 6:00PM CDT in celebration of Juneteenth. LIGHT welcomed everyone to listen to the diverse speakers and engage in multiple workshops to discover, dialogue, and define for themselves how we bring writing and other creative mediums, such as art, poetry, and storytelling, into public health and healing.

The 2022 LIGHT Festival was an extraordinary day! We had 173 attendees who participated in 10 workshops, viewed 4 incredible main stage presentations, experienced two yoga sessions, and learned from 1 panel discussion.
