We’re excited to spotlight Kit, one of our LIGHT Ambassadors and a junior at Saint Louis University, studying Public Health with a minor in Biology. Originally from a small town in North Carolina, Kit has embraced life in St. Louis, discovering all the city has to offer—from free activities to vibrant cultural events.
Kit’s passion lies in behavioral science and health equity, two crucial areas in public health. Her favorite part of studying public health? Constantly learning and exploring new ways to make an impact. Whether it’s academics, hobbies, or exploring new cities, Kit’s curiosity and drive shine through everything she does.

- 🍪 Favorite food: Chocolate chip cookies (made with her mom’s secret recipe!)
- 🏞️ Best vacation: A weekend trip to Lisbon and Porto while studying abroad—two of her all-time favorite cities.
- 🪨 New hobby: Recently tried bouldering at a rock climbing gym!
- 🥍 SLU Club Lacrosse: Kit can’t wait to take on more games this semester.
