LIGHT Summer Camp 2025: Where Art, Writing, and Public Health Shine Bright
We’re thrilled to announce that registration is now open for the 2025 LIGHT Summer Camp, happening June 2–6, 2025 from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM each day!
Designed for students entering 5th through 8th grade, this 5-day immersive program invites youth to explore the powerful connections between visual art, creative writing, and public health. Hosted in collaboration with Washington University in St. Louis, the camp empowers students to use their voices and lived experiences as tools for creative expression and social impact.
What Students Can Expect:
- Create art, poetry, and letters inspired by their own stories and passions
- Learn how creativity can play a role in science, healing, and community health
- Publish their original work in the next issue of LIGHT Magazine, our youth-led literary arts magazine focused on public health and storytelling
Full Scholarships Available!
We are pleased to share that full scholarships are available to cover the cost of the program. This ensures that cost is not a barrier for any student who wishes to participate.
