We’re thrilled to introduce Bianca, the talented designer behind LIGHT Magazine. Bianca graduated from the Savannah College of Art & Design in 2016 with a BFA in Graphic Design. Her journey to becoming a designer was anything but conventional. Initially, she pursued a degree in photography, but her passion for design took hold during her sophomore year, leading her to switch majors—a decision that meant an extra year in school but opened up a whole new world of creativity.
Bianca describes her design style as “organized chaos,” approaching each project like a puzzle where each piece has its place, yet the final vision evolves as she rearranges and fine-tunes each element. This process allows her creativity to shine, drawing inspiration from other designers and continuously challenging herself to explore new ideas.
At LIGHT, Bianca brings her love for tactile, print-based design to life, proving that “print is not dead.” She believes that the unique touch and feel of physical design bring depth and authenticity to our magazine, connecting readers to our mission of healing and transformation through the arts.
Whether working on the layout of LIGHT Magazine or refining each visual detail, Bianca’s passion for storytelling through design is evident. Her commitment to creativity and exploration has made her an invaluable asset to our team, and we’re grateful to have her expertise guiding the aesthetic and vision of our publication.
